# Buy & claim

> For buyers — get in, claim, or refund.

Buying into a HyperPad sale is a fixed-price commit — no curve to front-run, no MEV sandwich on your
entry. Everyone in a phase pays the same.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Find a sale">
    Browse live sales on the [app](https://hyperpad.fun). Each card shows the
    price, the raise progress, and the soft/hard cap.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Commit">
    Enter an amount of HYPE and confirm. You'll see exactly how many tokens that buys before you sign.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for settle">
    When the sale ends, the contract checks the soft cap and decides: **launch** or **refund**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Two outcomes, both safe

    Liquidity locks and trading opens. **Claim** your tokens — instantly, or as they vest if the
    project set a schedule. Then trade on HyperSwap whenever you like.

    **Refund** for the full amount you put in. The contract holds your funds in escrow the whole
    time — nothing to trust, nothing to chase.

<Note>
  Your HYPE lives in the sale contract until settlement — it never passes through a team or operator
  wallet. Refunds are a function you call, not a favor you ask for.
